Kinship - Human & Nature
The exhibition ‘Kinship - Human and Nature’ shows the relation between species and places humans as a species in a temporal and holistic perspective that put in relief to our impact on the planet today.
Through a specific biocrystallisation technique, fluids from six different plants, animals and humans have been crystallised and transformed into beautiful photographic works that give the audience a unique experience of the nature of the different species. The works are supported by a timeline that describes in poetic language the individual species and the evolutionary development from algae to humans. Poems about the six species in a poetic interpretation and celebration of their their different natures and their connection to humans, is also a part of the exhibition.
The exhibition also contains photographic works that inspire to see nature as part of a shared and intertwined universe with equality and reciprocity between all beings.
